New Drawing
Im working on a new drawing 18x24 on canson paper. I have to frame a few pieces for the show on Saturday. So much to do so little time. Almost done with a new painting, has alot of texture which I love :). Will post a picture of it up shortly.
Hi Margie, Just thought I would mention, the Fair Lawn Community News, will be posting the opening on Thursday. Also, the Herald News will be listing the exhibition in their “Things To Do” section, as well as “New Jersey Monthly Magazine”. What a show this is going to be Have a great day. Three award-winning artists will be featured in a special exhibit of landscapes and figure paintings at Center City Galleries, at the Center City Mall in Paterson, New Jersey. David Buckbinder, landscape oil painter; Timothy John-Luke Smith, surrealist painter; and Margie Resto Smith, symbolist painter have joined forc...es to offer an exhibit titled, “Substance Meets Style: The Art of Three Realistic Painters.” The show will open on October 2, 2010 at the Center City Galleries in Paterson. The new, expansive 12,000 square foot gallery space on the upper level of the mall will offer a reception for the exhibit from 6-9 pm. The exhibit will be open to the public from October 2 through October 31, 2010.
